Registered letters, money orders, insured articles, and parcels should be handed in at the Post Office by 6 p.m. on the day previous to the departure of the mail, except on Sundays when registered letters will be accepted up to 4.30 p.m. The mail for India closes every Tuesday at 5.45 p.m. for ordinary correspondence and 4.30 p.m. for registered letters. The mail from India arrives every Monday via Port Said.
